Since 2020 when the pandemic hit, BNR DE has been supporting various state organizations across the state with COVID-19 testing and Vaccinations
OUR MISSION IS TO INSPIRE AND EMPOWER INNOVATIVE LEADERS THAT WILL SERVE AND EDUCATE VULNERABLE COMMUNITIES WITH HEALTH CARE EDUCATION.

BNRF DE's goal within the state of Delaware is to act as catalyst for change by providing healthcare education, screening, and services to promote the health and growth of its citizens on a volunteer basis to help slow the epidemic of diabetes, heart disease/stroke, HIV/AIDS, prostate and breast cancers, and maternal health through education.
Black Nurses Rock Delaware Chapter, Inc was established by three ambitious nurses who wanted to follow the vision of Dr. Bruce Walker BNR's National President, to educate vulnerable populations of patients and communities with health care education on volunteer basis.

BNR's Second Annual Back to School Backpack and Supply Drive
BNR's Second Annual Back to School Backpack and supply drive took off like a jet!
We collected over 300 Backpacks, Partnered with Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Psi Iota Chapter in Dover which allowed us to donate extra supplies. We donated to 4 area schools throughout the state. The first school to receive our donated back to school supplies was Towne Point Elementary in Dover Delaware
The second school to benefit from our back to school backpack drive was EastSide Charter School in the city of Wilmington
The Third school to benefit from our Back to school backpack drive was LuLu Ross Elementary in Milford

Black Nurses Rock Foundation (BNR), Inc was founded in 2014 after a Facebook post ignited a full-blown movement of networking amongst Black Nurses worldwide! BNR is an organization whose focus is to foster a positive environment of professional growth and development amongst ALL nurses who want to fulfill the organization's mission of developing leaders and educating vulnerable communities in which we serve.
Black Nurses Rock is the largest online community where professional black nurse's share, network, and develop together. The Facebook secret group has over 193,000 active members, and we have over 83,000 followers We are the largest minority nursing on our Facebook Page, with a website that gets over 20,000 organic hits monthly. We are the largest minority nursing organization in the nation! We represent over 174,000 Black/African-American nurses and students from USA, Canada, Eastern Caribbean, Africa, Japan, and Germany!!
Black Nurses Rock is a non-profit organization, 501c(3) incorporated on March 18, 2015 in the state of Mississippi.
Black Nurses Rock Delaware Chapter was incorporated August 9, 2016. It was founded after Nishelle Harris-Hines, DNP, MSN, PMHNP, Tajuanna Harris-McCoy MIS,BSN,RN, Andrea Hines BS, BSN RN, and Kelley Campbell-Bowens MSN, RN recruited six additional nurses to join them in their mission to bring Dr. Moss's mission to life in Delaware.
We support and mentor, nursing students, and prospective nurses in an effort to elevate the nursing profession to not only excel in their workplace, but to further improve and become a pillar within the community for providing high quality care

OUR OBJECTIVE IS TO EDUCATE AND BRING AWARENESS OF RISK FACTORS AND PREVENTION METHODS TO A POPULATION OF PEOPLE IN NEED OF SUCH SERVICES FROM A NURSES PERSPECTIVE THROUGH EDUCATION. ONE SHOULD ALWAYS FOLLOW THE ADVICE OF THERE MEDICAL PROVIDER. WE ARE ONLY THERE TO PROVIDE EVIDENCE BASED LITERATURE ON HEALTH ISSUES PLAGUING OUR COMMUNITIES SUCH AS: HYPERTENSION, PROSTATE HEALTH, AND HOW TO PERFORM SELF-BREAST EXAMS. WE ALSO MENTOR OUR YOUNG

OBJECTIVE- IS TO EDUCATE AND RAISE AWARENESS OF RISK FACTORS AND PREVENTION METHODS OF DM. PROVIDE CLASSES TO THOSE AFFECTED BY DM TO ENSURE EFFECTIVE SELF-MANAGEMENT OF THIS DISEASE
