OUR MISSION IS TO INSPIRE AND EMPOWER INNOVATIVE LEADERS THAT WILL SERVE AND EDUCATE VULNERABLE COMMUNITIES WITH HEALTH CARE EDUCATION.
Black Nurses Rock Delaware Chapter, Inc.

BNRF DE's goal within the state of Delaware is to act as catalyst for change by providing healthcare education, screening, and services to promote the health and growth of its citizens on a volunteer basis to help slow the epidemic of diabetes, heart disease/stroke, HIV/AIDS, prostate and breast cancers, and maternal health through education.

Black Nurses Rock Delaware Chapter, Inc., was established by three ambitious nurses who wanted to follow the vision of our current National President, Dr. Melody Taylor, to educate vulnerable populations of patients and communities with health care education on a volunteer basis.

BNR Delaware Chapter, Inc. was one of 52 local chapters born under Dr. Moss's National Chapter, Black Nurses Rock. Due to restructuring after the departure of the founder of our great organization, those who hung in and continued that mission had a desire to continue to grow this great organization. The goal is to continue with those chapters who hung in through the fight to maintain and re-establish chapters in those states that chose to close during that unfortunate time. We thank those chapter leads who stayed and decided to continue the mission to inspire and empower by continuing with the commitment to support and help those individuals residing in vulnerable communities who count on our health education and screenings to lower hospital visits to manage their disease process at a community level; we are committed to doing the work to help educate and improve the health of those in our service area by continuing to be a catalyst for change.
